liballegro-ttf5-dev software package provides header files for the Allegro 5 TTF addon, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liballegro-ttf5-dev
liballegro-ttf5-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liballegro-ttf5-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liballegro-ttf5-dev *
You will get with liballegro-ttf5-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
